Beth K. Schwartz, MSN, RN, PHN, MAT, is a public health nurse, nursing researcher and feminist theologian. She is a nursing faculty member who teaches public health nursing students at UCLA, USF and Azusa Pacific University. Schwartz has a MS in Public Health Nursing Education and a MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. She is currently a second year Nursing PhD student at Azusa Pacific University where she is researching the effects of adverse religious experiences on the female body, mind and spirit through a Grounded Theory Qualitative approach. She desires to create a new nursing theoretical framework that is trauma informed and will impact nursing practice around the globe.
