There are many events that take place during the school year at UCLA. Public tours are often available, film series are provided throughout the year, and the annual UCLA Pow-Wow, sponsored by the AIAN undergraduate and graduate students, brings the community of Native staff, students, alumni, faculty and communities members together.
At the end of each year, a "blanketing" ceremony is hosted by the various departments, American Indian Studies and the AIAN student organizations- to honor our graduates and to celebrate the completion of their years at UCLA and the start of their new careers.
