Programs at 532 nursing schools with master’s or doctoral programs accredited by either the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing were surveyed for the ranking; 292 responded and were eligible to be included in the rankings of master’s programs
The rankings are based on a weighted average of 14 indicators, including a quality assessment by nursing school deans, student selectivity and master’s program size, faculty resources and research activity. Among public universities, the UCLA School of Nursing ranks #7.
This announcement comes on the heels of another great accomplishment – we continue to remain in the top 10 nursing schools in NIH funding – at #9.
