Extensive Simulation experience, published research in simulation, presented at both SSIH and INACSL Conferences for Simulation and has been teaching Simulation to nursing educators for 9 years.

 

Cost: $250.00/person/day (includes instruction, light refreshments, CE 7.0 hours each day) No charge for UCLA faculty or students.

Objectives:

By the end of both sessions, the participant will be able to:

1. Define simulation as a teaching strategy

2. Complete the writing of a scenario

3. Set up and deliver a scenario in a simulation lab

     setting

4. Demonstrate debriefing after their

     simulation following instructor guided  

     practice
