| The Urgent Care Manager will provide direct supervision and coordination to the nursing and physician staff and act as a resource person for the Urgent Care Center. The Urgent Care Manager will maintain and encourage a professional, positive customer service oriented attitude in Urgent Care while ensuring adherence to clinic policies and procedures.

| Responsibilities: |
1.Supervision of all Urgent Care nursing staff, infusion clinic, UC lab staff, and PSA staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
2.Interview, hire, discipline and terminate employees with assistance from Administrator.
3.Annual evaluation of employee work performance.
4.Maintain current employee files of PTO/sick time.
5.Submit accurate time sheets to payroll on Monday morning of new pay period.
6.Develop monthly staffing schedules and daily assignments.
7.Monitor staffing patterns and make appropriate changes to maintain the desired skill mix, while meeting the needs of the clinic.
8.Monitor and evaluate patient flow, waiting times and all patient services rendered by U/C. Make appropriate changes to improve services.
9.Assist with providing staff with annual skills proficiency test.
10.Assure training and orientation of all new employees as well as updated training for current employees on new equipment and policies and procedures.

| Requirements: |
1.Minimum of an associate degree in nursing.
2.Graduate of accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
3.Current ACLS and BLS.
4.Current PALS.
5.Minimum of two years urgent care or emergency room experience preferred.
7.Minimum of three (3) years experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
8.Ability to work in a multi-task, high stress environment.
