Students are admitted for the fall quarter only. The Admissions application is available online at https://grad.ucla.edu/admissions/steps-to-apply/.
We are having some technical problems with the UCLA Graduate Admissions Application. Please familiarize yourself with the application – questions asked, documents to assemble, etc – but DO NOT complete too much of it yet as a new version will be coming soon.
Please note that the deadline to submit your application for Fall 2018 has been extended to January 5, 2018..
Rest assure this technical issue will not impact the review of your application — it affects all applicants equally.
Each doctoral application file is evaluated individually by two faculty. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate the capacity for original scholarship and nursing research as evidenced by submitted papers or publications, consistent research objectives and career goals, and research objectives congruent with those of the faculty in the School of Nursing. Scholarly verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in the doctoral program. Those selected for the second round will be called for an interview.
